Macsome Subscription FAQs:

Macsome offers a variety of software on an auto-renewing subscription basis. The subscription-based products renew automatically on their scheduled renewal date. Of course, the service is optional. You can cancel it at any time if you don't want to renew your subscription. Below are answers to frequently asked questions about our subscription service.

Q1. What is the refund period?

Macsome offers a 2-day money-back guarantee on the one-month and the one-year subscription of all our products, and 30 days for the lifetime plan. Your money back guarantee starts from the moment your payment has been made. After the end of the applicable refund period, your payment is non-refundable. For more details about refund conditions, please refer to our Refund Policy.

Q2. How to Cancel the Auto-Renewal?

Both monthly and yearly subscription plans we provided are automatically renewed by default. You'll automatically be charged the subscription price at the start of each new billing cycle until you cancel. If you want to cancel the renewal subscription, you can cancel it at any time before the renewal date. You can cancel the Auto-Renewal in three methods:

Method 1: After purchasing a subscription plan, you will receive an email with your username and order ID included in the title. In this email, click "Manage Your Order" and manually disable auto-renewal.

Method 2: Directly contact the support team via email: [email protected].

Method 3: Feel free to contact FastSpring and ask to cancel the auto-renewal:

When you cancel your subscription, you will receive a notification email (Cancel Subscription of xxx) showing the expiration date of your license code. You won't be charged again unless you re-subscribe. Your subscription benefits will continue until the end of the billing period.

Q3. I have renewed my subscription, why does the license code become invalid?

After the renewal, the system will send you a new license. Please go to click the menu, and click the "Register" option from the menu list, you will get the registration window. The tab the "Change Account" button and enter the new license to activate the program again.

Q4. Can I continue to use the program after canceling my subscription?

Yes. After canceling the subscription, you can still use Macsome products until the license code invalid. You will receive a confirmation email (Cancel Subscription of xxx), informing you when your license code would be expired. And you can also go to the Registration window of the program to check the expiration date.

After your subscription expired, the program will back to the trial version, you can use the trial version for free or re-subscribe.

Q5. Why the price I paid was more than the prices listed on the website?

All programs are priced in US dollar. The price on our website does not include any tax. You may need to pay VAT or other taxes varies by country.

In addition, the renewal price will be the same as the price you initially purchased under normal conditions. But if you've participated in a discount promotion, your renewal will be charged at the original price as displayed on our official page. The discounted price is only applied to the initial purchase.

Q6. Can I change or upgrade the subscription plan?

Yes, but it only applies to the upgrading of the monthly plan to the annual plan on the same product. If you want to switch from a monthly plan to an annual plan, please email our support team at [email protected] to get help. We will assist you in upgrading your subscription in a few minutes.

The remaining unused days of your current subscription will be calculated and converted to the remaining balance, which will be used to deduct the cost of the new subscription, and you will be charged the insufficient portion if applicable. Once the change of subscription confirmed, you will be charged (the difference) on the day, and receive a new license to activate the program.

Please Note:

1. If you want to change the license, please do not cancel the automatic renewal in advance, otherwise the plan cannot be upgraded in the background.

2. It is not applied to change your subscription from an annual plan to a monthly plan, and this doesn't work on upgrading your license from a monthly plan or annual plan to a lifetime plan. In these two cases, you have to purchase a subscription you want additionally.
